Tomorrow is the day that the vision of Beni Velazquez becomes reality Sweet Water is re-christened STEELES.
STEELES is “an eclectic fusion steakhouse” and the Chef/Owner is on premise everyday to make sure locals get the kind of “star treatment” they deserve in a food town as good as ours.
If you loved Sweetwater, as I did, you will be happy to note the best seafood (think Ahi Tuna) stays + now the meat has been “beefed up” with some fabulous bone-in steaks and absolutely knock out Tapas. Oh and the wine is by the glass or bottle and you will find selections hand picked by Beni. You can bet that very few other local restaurant in Henderson/Green Valley carries this many unique wines.

We went to Morels several weeks ago when it first opened and this comment from Zagat’s just about captures our sentiments;
“A nice try, but this new French restaurant missed the mark. The cheese and charcuterie menu board was interesting, but the food was uninspiring, and the decor felt like it was trying too hard to impress. The pictures on the wall were particularaly out of place. OK overall, but not as good as other French Restaurants, like Mon Ami Gabi.”
